Andre DeSautel
For over 8 years, Andre DeSautel has been studying music with an eagerness to master his instrument. Joining the school band in middle school in an effort to escape a home economics class, he discovered a love for music that has since led him to make it his professional career. His high school music education had him spending time on the violin, string bass, tuba, drum line, and guitar. However, it was the later that he felt was his voice and has since made it his main instrument.
He is enrolled at McNally Smith College of Music in the guitar performance program and set to graduate in the spring of 2012. During his time at McNally Smith he has had the privilege of studying with many accomplished musicians such as: Kevin Daley, Eric Klotz, Pete Whitman, Chris Olson, and Mike Krajewski.
His study of multiple styles of music has made him proficient at many different genres such as, jazz, blues, country, soul, R&B, and rock. He also has experience playing in pit orchestras and other gigs were music reading has been required. Always in demand, whether it is studio work, or a live gig, Andre is constantly playing and performing with his guitar.
