This is Paul McNees' solo project. The first album was called "Songs and Other Delusions" and is available on CDBaby. On that album, Paul played most of the instruments and included members of his former band, Bass Line Dada. Paul was also a member and songwriter for the Bay Area band, Hoarhound whose other member Ari Fellows-Mannion went on to form Loretta Lynch with Val Esway (Ramona the Pest). The new album, Lacuna, was produced by Mark Growden and is intended as a tribute to Paul's father who passed away in May of 2011. Paul is a musician, teacher, and writer who is exploring the deep roots of human music-making through the lens of metaphysics and philosophy. He is currently pursuing his Phd in Philosophy with a focus on Music and the Evolution of Consciousness.
