Zej & Calen are an indie-folk duo based in Berkeley and San Francisco. Their acoustic guitar-driven music and emotive lyrics successfully bridge folk, rock, and world genres, revealing influences like Neil Young, Simon & Garfunkel, and Nick Drake. Their new record, ‘Last Station’, is sincere and often vulnerable, expressing a reverence for nature and exploring both romantic and family ties in songs like All The Air and Bedroom Window.  Zej has been a wilderness advocate for 15 years, and Calen works on environmental sustainability projects.
