As I fill out this "Biography" slot, I find myself caught in this awkward tension of whether I should go third person on y'all and be a fraud pretending to have "people" who fill this stuff out for me, or if I should just take the reigns, do it, and run the risk of sounding like a self-obsessed hooligan. It really is a lose-lose, so bear with me for a moment.

I know this is the opportune time to share with you my journey to this point and how the songs you are hearing are a true reflection of this said journey, but I don't want to do that right now. Let's get some face-to-face time here in the near future and we'll swap stories then.

For now, let's just talk shop.

I love the power of something so simplistic that somehow finds a way to completely sweep you off your feet. Music is a rare breed in this way. It is infinitely evolving and yet consistently intimate. The beauty of music is that no matter how good a song may be, the best is always yet to come.

I love that.

As you listen to my songs and the art that I've worked hard to piece together for you, know that I do not take your time for granted. Your willingness to sit in these lyrics and decide whether or not you like the taste is incredible and I thank you with my whole being for that.
