Jeff Rolfzen is a singer-songwriter from Minneapolis, Minnesota. His first guitar was stolen from his friend's basement buried underneath a pile of cobwebs. It was this guitar that gave birth to the love of playing music that he would soon fully discover after writing his first songs in the fall of 2008. By then He had taught himself how to play the guitar, harmonica, and the ukulele all while he was supposed to studying in Mankato MN for theatre. That following summer he moved home, played his first gig at an ice cream shop and made a few lo-fi recordings of his songs. The following summer he finally spent money on his first instrument: a 5-string banjo. His first public release of his music: "Out To Lunch: An EP" was printed forty-seven times and placed into small paper bags and handed out to friends, and sold to strangers on the street. He now plays solo shows in the twin cities and also plays around town with his new project: The Silver City Millers.
