RESOUND is a new 40 voice chorus based in San Francisco. We believe that singing crosses all boundaries of background, education, training, age, gender, sexuality, and personal mission; we seek to be representative of the greater world community in both membership and repertoire. As such, RESOUND is comprised of non-paid singers: people audition purely because they love to sing amazing choral music.

RESOUND performs music of all genres, collaborating with creative people to showcase music and ideas of the human race. We believe there should be no disconnect between art and popular music, and we juxtapose unlike pieces to reveal something impossible if they were performed alone.

We sing to pass the time, and we sing to enrich the experiences we have. We sing because we are a thinking people and a feeling people. We sing, simply, because we must sing.
