Osicka got his first true taste of music at the age of eight when his father built a sizeable recording studio in their garage where he did original tracks. From his father, Osicka learned how to sing, play guitar and began writing music at age 15, having found his niche three years later. The following year, Osicka started to record demos of vocals and guitar with a family friend. His music began to reach greater heights, as did his faith and he saw a vision of moving to Minneapolis and would make the move with the help of family and friends. After two years in Minneapolis, Osicka finished his education at McNally Smith College of Music in music business. He is currently working at two restaurants as a shift leader, playing on the worship team and leading the children's service at his church as a volunteer. Osicka co-founded Bordertown Community in November 2012, a social justice group working with other organizations to alleviate local poverty. That same month, Osicka started recording his first compilation, the Down & Out EP, which will be released independently August 2013.
