408 Saint Peter Street Saint Paul, 55102 (651) 292-1359 Tucked in the basement level of the historic Hamm Building in St. Paul, the Artists' Quarter has a subterranean, classic vibe evoking a bygone era. The club is owned by working jazz musicians, who designed a sound, look and feel for the optimal live experience. Whether presenting a legend like Roy Haynes (who recorded the live CD Whereas at the club) or a rising star from the Twin Cities scene, the AQ takes its jazz very seriously. Don’t despair at the lack of a kitchen – the friendly AQ staff will set you up with food delivered by nearby restaurants. The Artists' Quarter is open from 7:00 pm until 1:00 a.m. Monday through Saturday. On Sundays, the Artists' Quarter will open 1/2 hour before any scheduled public show, show times vary so check the calendar at www.artistsquarter.com. For most shows we do not take reservations. The best way to guarantee a seat is to show up a little early. However, reservations are available and are recommended when a show is likely to be packed (national acts on weekends). Reservations can be made via phone at (651) 292-1359. If you don't have reservations, don't fret. Stop on down and we'll try to fit you in. We're usually able to. Please note that we do not accept reservation requests via email. The Artists' Quarter is an 18+ club. |
