Songwriter Nolan John is a small-town northern Minnesota native who taught himself how to play guitar as a kid. Over the last 15 years, he has built a mature body of work thats powerful and familiar, yet uniquely soft. His musical style is borrowed from country, folk, and pop influences, with lyrics that cover the everyday human experience of love, heartbreak, faith, doubt, and hope.  Fans have compared his songs to those of Ryan Adams, Jon Foreman, Radiohead, and Coldplay. Every few weeks, you can find him playing at a coffee shop just around the corner. He plans to release his debut EP in summer 2012.
