Straighten Up and Fly Right! is a retrospective on the life story and recording career of musician Nat King Cole. It is presented in a show format. Selected songs from include classic hits recorded by the King Cole Trio as well as small ensemble pieces as well as larger scale ensemble pieces. Narration during the show tells of significant events that occured during the 1950's and 1960's that had an impact on Nat Cole, his family, his life, his recording career and his short life. The show has been orchestrated for string quartet w/small ensemble. 8 or 12 piece.
