Gild was conceived in the small but creative music scene of Duluth, Minnesota. Like other musicians from the cold port town, including legend Bob Dylan and indie stars Low, their home's industrial culture and dramatic seasons have instilled an indefinable edge into their sound. Gild is Jennifer Jones, who sings and plays guitar, Tim Nelson on guitar, the multi-talented DJ Baby Judy, with his turntables & rhymes, and a rhythm section featuring bassist Dicky Brooks and drummer James Hagstrom.
