Apryl Electra
Amazingly talented Apryl Electra is a singer/songwriter and musician who began playing piano at the age of six months and started composing music at the age of six years. She writes ALL of her original material on guitar, piano and/or bass. Her passion for dance inspired her to create her own drum programming. Apryl Electra performs acoustically as well as rocks the stage with her electro-dance-pop songs.
Over the last few years Apryl Electra has been recording her first CD. -From The Padded Cell of Suburbia- is a mix of rock ballads that tell of heartache to her self-described --electracousticlash-- electro-dance-pop songs that speak of strength and empowerment. This collection of 14 extrememly well-written songs is long awaited: the earliest of the songs, Kiss The Wind, was written by Apryl Electra during her senior year in high school at the age of 17.
In July of 2005 Apryl Electra founded Artcele Records. Now, along with continuing to write, Apryl Electra is recording her second CD on her own to be released next year on Artcele Records and playing as many shows as she can around the Twin Cities.
