Markk Welch
I'm Markk, 22, I've been in Darkness Follows and Kindergarten Massacre, over 3 years of gigging experience in the metal vocals department, my own equipment (SM57, SM58, portable PA, noise gate/processor, etc), great work ethic, and in general, a great frontman with loads of stage presence. Plus, I am a really good, versatile metal vocalist.
I have the range between sick, low death grunts and high screams, as well as the melodic rasp of Phil Anselmo. Major influences include Jesse Leach (old KsE), Phil Anselmo (Pantera), Chris Barnes (old Cannibal Corpse), and Randy Blythe (Lamb of God). I prefer something between death and hardcore, but it's gotta be EVIL. Riffwise at least. I demand HEAVY.
My demands:
#1. Free range on my vocals/lyrics. Let me be me.
#2. We gotta be both a recording and gigging band. If not already, let's make it a goal, and let's get there.
#3. Transportation. I'm not taking the bus with my gear, so someone's gotta pick me up from the Eagan/Burnsville area. Sorry.
I go to school at the Institute of Production and Recording (IPR) for Pro Tools Expert Certification, so we can record there if we become ready. Please, no bands that suck. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to waste my time waiting for you to get better. Be a tad professional. I have some samples of myself (with or without band accompaniment) and can put my vocals to your tracks if needed. I prefer auditioning with a live band, but whatever works. If you
