Out of Time

OUT OF TIME HISTORY LESSON: Dave Reynolds, lead singer & song writer of OUT OF TIME, started the band in 2001. Prior to this Dave played trumpet in the band BUCK Enterprises, a Christian ska band from Detroit, MI, where they were signed and toured the country.

Near the end of his time with BUCK he started the band OUT OF TIME with former and current members of BUCK. OUT OF TIME recorded (after seven day's regret nothing) in 2001 (and now has been released as self titled out of time)and played shows for the next 6 months. Later that year Dave got married and moved to Rochester, Minnesota. Other than the occasional reunion show, this was the end of OUT OF TIME as it was known.
But not all was lost, in the time between 2001 & 2006 Dave had much to write about with the trials and tribulations of life, having a family, the many experiences he enountered along the way, and what God has done in his life and those around him. So in Winter of 2006 Dave recorded an acoustic ep (almost perfect) (titled this due to the lack of time to record and the fact he took 1 to 2 takes for each song).
Band Bio: (2/4)
And so began the inspiration for him to start the new OUT OF TIME re-birth. He began playing solo accoustic shows in coffee houses in March 2006. Soon, the band again took form with Chad Fisher on bass guitar & vocals, Jeff Curtain on drums, and finally with the move of his brother Timmy Reynolds, an excellent lead guitar player from bands in Detroit such as PART TIME and AGE OF REASON. OUT OF TIME was ready to rock!

In the fall of 2006 Out of time began playing actively again and began recording the newest album (logic is the enemy) which was released in March of 2007. With the new band came a new sound. We frequented the Club 3 degrees (Minneapolis MN), Fine Line Music Cafe (Minneapolis MN), Whats up Lounge (Mankato MN), and of course played locally in Rochester MN, as well as Detroit MN. Then another change began, Dave and his wife Kate were expecting there newest addition to there family. Baby (jack jack) came along and Out of Time took a break with there last show with Dave's bro Tim in June of 2007. Tim moved back to Detroit that same month to pursue other musical projects. And it seemed that Out of time maybe had finally come to a close. Then in the Summer of 2008 a band friend from Journey Church in Rochester MN and he expressed some interest when asked if he would consider playing. We expected he would figure out the songs eventually but not that after only 2 practices with band that we would be ready to perform. He was ready to rock and rock we did in Rochester Mn at the (Saturday at Slatterly Park) show. Out of Time is at it again and i hop you can see us soon and hopefully see a new album or EP in 2009 for we have begun writing some new material that is new ground for us.
There is history still to be written: talk to you then. Sincerely,
Out of Time: Dave Reynolds, Chad Fisher, Jeff Curtin and Alex Ortiz
