The StereoFidelics consist of Chris Padgett (acoustic and electric guitars, keyboard, synthesizer, synth bass, live loops, and vocals) and Melissa McGinley (electric violin, drums, and vocals).
The StereoFidelics have done intense promoting of their music outside of the bustling Asheville music scene; touring extensively throughout the southeast, midwest, west coast, mountain west, and into the northeast during the summer of 2007 and all of 2008. After much anticipation, they released their debut album, Only Sleeping on Rubberneck Records in December '08 and will be back on the road most of 2009.
