Maintain Radio Silence

Hello, My name is Frederick and I am a songwriter. I have been writing songs since I was a teenager. Then my songs got a bit better the more I read and traveled. I worked hard at this craft for a very long time. Then a friend of mine and I formed Natural Selection. Not long after we had a hit song called “Do Anything” We followed that with another top 20 hit “Hearts Don’t Think (They Feel)!” Played gigs all over the world. Came home and got to writing. All was good and we looked forward to the next step in the process… Then everything started to become more and more difficult. The label wanted one thing the band wanted something else. Needless to say after awhile the entire thing dissipated. I decided to try again, reforming Natural Selection altogether. Again, things were good and all was ready for a major label return. Then the label folded and we, like many others were left in limbo. After a string of trials and tribulations, we took a long break from music and each other. A few years later we reunited to write and release our own record. We tried working with a lot of different people who were excellent in what they did, but we also knew that for it to be right we had to do it our own way. We released it and it did better than we thought no number ones of course, but our supporters loved it as much as we did. After all of this, I went away for awhile and just lived life. Then one day I took a friend up on an offer to record, and just see what happens. Maintain Radio Silence is the culmination in song of the joys and the pains of our world right now today. It was the most challenging yet rewarding recording I’ve done so far and I hope you enjoy it. So the next steps of the journey begin. Through all of this, I have remained what I was when I started. Older sure, wiser hopefully, but at the end of the day...
