A native of the Twin Cities, Emily Villano is a charismatic, versatile vocalist with a passion for all music. She can work a song and a crowd, capturing an audience with her sincerity and warm approach. Whether performing in productions at the History Theater or Chanhassen Dinner Theaters, singing at the Townhouse Piano Bar or with the Rachel Roberts Band around the cities, Emily brings a heartwarming voice, persona, and a funky style.
Along with her career in performance, Emily has an intense passion for arts education. A Teaching Artist with Youth Performance Company, she teaches beginning theater classes and vocal based workshops. Emily is also a member of the Learning Through Music team, working with 4th grade students at Folwell School, Performing Arts Magnet.
Her committed, caring, and positive attitude shine through her work in education. Emily maintains a private vocal studio in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and focuses on technique, repertoire and performance analysis with her students.
Her mission in teaching is to cultivate the creative spirit of her students through development, advancement, and empowerment in music.
