6 Strings and a Lady...

Charity is a singer songwriter from Duluth, Minnesota. Her songs are playful, soulful, powerful, and raw.  She is a true artist and a unique musician who has an ability to deliver each song with passion and poise.  She has been singing since a child, discovered writing as a teenager, and picked up the guitar in college. Her 1st album, Tangled Directions was released in May of 2009.  It contains 10 original songs inspired by a variety of experiences from living in across seas to a summer day in her hometown.

Charity's unique soothing voice, simple guitar strumming and picking, and lyrical landscape mesmerizes her audience and allows listeners to connect, relate, and enjoy a moment of music.  When in college, she sang at the University of Minnesota, Duluth in University Singers and Vocal Jazz. That musical opportunity has influenced her music along with folk, rock, acoustic, and bluegrass. Not to mention:  life, nature, people watching,  books, journal writing, coffee shops and bars, passion, choirs, the moon, Sunday fundays, Lake Superior, late nights, emotions, live shows, and a variety of artists might have something to do with inspiring a few of the tunes.
