Second Class Citizen's listeners find something for all tastes of all styles in performances that are sure to surprise and delight even the most critical of musically appreciative ears. With sonic influences ranging from pop to salsa, funk to trip-hop & free jazz to controlled composition one finds something fresh and new around every corner.

Second Class Citizen released their debut "Social Security EP" in August of 2009. Beyond the current line-up, also featured on the album are musicians Theresa Hanley (Cloud Cult / Aesma Daeva) on Violin and Viola, Matthew Franklin (Bella Koshka) on Drums, Brian Cooper (Slighted / Weller) on Bass and John Stojevich (Mighty Fairly / Ready Made Fire) on drums and auxiliary percussion who also engineered the work at Fuzzy Slippers Studio of St Paul.

Current band members are: Jason Folkerts - Vox / Guitar, John Pohl - Guitar, Glen Wadie - Bass & Chris Rohret - Drums.
