When Galbraith first appeared at the museum a year ago, the Santa Barbara News-Press wrote that "the performance in this small chamber verged on an epiphany." Galbraith plays a revolutionary eight-string instrument, held like a cello, with two extra strings (one high and one low) and a unique design that increases the technical and sonic possibilities to an extent never before possible.
