HOT
If you love swing in the tradition of Billie Holiday, Duke Ellington and Count Basie, this is the CD for you! Doug Haining assembled The Twin Cities Seven from musicians he has worked with through the years from the Wolverines Big Band. Charmin Michelle has worked with all the musicians in varies ensembles in the past ten years, but it was September 2000 that she and Doug Haining set the stage to record a CD together. Thus HOT came to be. And trust us, it is HOT!
Pure Imagination
In their debut collaboration, Charmin Michelle and Joel Shapira combine traditional and modern jazz styles to create Charmin & Shapira. Pure Imagination includes sultry sambas, smoky duos and hip group tunes. Enjoy!
